Gown rental fees:

BASIC $75 + GST/24 hour period

One-time rental

Must pick up and drop off the gown- arrangements for pick up in Saskatoon, Prince Albert or other areas can be made.

WEEKLY

7 day rental $200 + shipping one way

10 day rental $275 + shipping one way

SHIPPING: I pay the shipping to you & you pay the shipping back

Keep items up to 7 or 10 days

Hourly

Gown rental for a Shyhorses Photography Session $35 + GST (on top of session fee)

(This cost includes the use of the dress and cleaning). Renters must sign an agreement before renting.

What forms of payment do you accept?

All orders are  processed through our online platform. We accept all major credit cards such as Visa, Master, American Express and Visa debit cards on our website.  Payment via e-transfer to lafrobin1@shyhorses.com is our preferred method of payment!

How does shipping work?

Shipping for weekly rentals anywhere in Canada (one way) is included in the rental price.

We also include a free return label in each rental package. Shipping typically takes 3-5 Business days to reach anywhere in Canada.

If you live in a neighboring province to Saskatchewan it may even arrive sooner! (unless there are unforeseen delays, like heavy snow, road closures, etc…)  

Please visit our website or follow us on our Social media channels for special announcements regarding the shipping schedule during the Holidays.

To ensure your dress arrives on time,  place orders 3-5 days in advance of selected rental dates.

Your rental term of 7 days or 10 days is the time you can keep your rented items. We don't count shipping time off when calculating rental periods.

How do I return my Rental?

All items must be returned in your original rental package.

1. Package the items in the original packaging (Clients will be charged $50 for lost or damaged beyond repair garment bags).

2. Apply the return shipping label provided in your package.

3. Drop off the package at the nearest Canada Post location. Your order receipt specifies the carrier to use. 

4. Send package with a tracking number and once you have that number please email it to: lafrobin1@shyhorses.com 

Once your item is successfully returned you will receive a confirmation email from us and then you will be able to keep on renting!

Do you have late fees?

Rentals late fees

Late fees will only be applied should items be returned beyond their specified rental period. Late returns are subject to a late fee of $20 per item per day. After 10 late days, you will be charged the full retail value of the item in addition to any applicable late fees.

Can I buy rental items?

At this point no, as we are building our client closet we still don’t have enough selection to remove any gowns from the collection but as we expand and change future sales may be available!

Should I wash before returning?

NOOO! Please do NOT Machine wash, hand wash or dry clean any of your rented items.

We will take care of all garment cleaning once we’ve received the return.

What happens if the dress gets damaged during my rental?

You will be held responsible for any loss, destruction or irreparable damage to the product beyond any regular wear and tear. Shyhorses Photography reserves the right to determine whether damages exceed the regular wear and tear allowance.

Any items returned stained or damaged beyond repair will be charged at full retail value, in addition to any rental or late fees already paid.

What happens if the item I received doesn't fit?

Online shopping can be a little tricky!

1. Always double-check the size guide in the product information section.

2. If you are in the Shell Lake area you can book an appointment and try on the pieces

Where do you get your gowns from?

We purchase our dresses and other outfits directly from the designer and brand. Most of them are located in Canada since I like to support fellow Canadian companies <3
