Hailey and Gage will be celebrating their wedding on July 29th, 2023 and they took advantage of their FREE engagement session with their wedding photography package. They had their engagement photos on a beautiful September day, and the trees of Shell Lake area showcased their best Autumn colours!
We used three locations all within 2kms radius of each other! All right near the town of Shell Lake, SK itself. So if you are not sure if a location in your area will work, please consider travelling to me! It’ll be worth the drive!
Hailey and Gage asked my favourite question: “Can we include our dogs in our engagement session?”
My answer “UHHHMMMM YES!!!! I love including pets in sessions!”
Don’t worry about feeling awkward or unsure about what you are going to do when you are booked for a session. I always say “all of my clients feel weird and if they don’t they must be professional models”. Which is almost no one I know! I make photos fun and give your prompts to keep you moving and your mind off the fact you are getting pictures taken. I do give some pose ideas and if they aren’t working we move along. I would never put you in a pose that makes you feel squidgy or weird.
Trust the process, trust your photographer. I got you!

Gage and Hailey knocked it out of the park just by bringing along a little picnic and a blanket. It’s so simple but it definitely makes the session seem more special and in my mind it turns it into a little date with your love! I like to slow things down and give you room to breathe during sessions. This is a perfect way <3
Hailey and Gage also booked their session for later afternoon/early evening and we made our best attempts for sunset photos. The sun seemed to be not having it with our plans. It was teasing us by just making small appearances during out session. BUT the good old Land of Living Skies once again did not disappoint and a gorgeous sunset broke through the clouds just as we were finishing up! Just in time for literally the best evening of photos I have had to date. I’m so thankful <3
